Meetings Reminders

We attended last week’s assembly for seniors at THS and we thought it would be nice to send along some of the info we received.

Hand prints are being done this week in the senior cafeteria during lunches. I was there yesterday and there are a lot missing! Be sure to tell your senior and send them to THS if they are full time BCC.
Grad Bash is this Saturday April 30th. The guidelines are listed below and please take note of the dress code, attached, as this will be strictly enforced by Universal and THS.
You need to be at THS to leave for the trip at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011. We want to board the busses by 2:45 p.m.

You will return to THS at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Senior award night May 2nd at 6pm THS Theater
Baccalaureate at Park Ave Baptist on May 8th at 4pm. Seniors wear cap and gown. Great opportunity to take pictures with friends in cap & gown.
May 15th and 16th- senior exams.
Senior Breakfast May 18th at 9am at the senior cafeteria. Seniors will be dismissed from class to breakfast and graduation practice. They will receive their graduation tickets at this time and instructions for Project Graduation. 10 tickets per senior if no rain and held in stadium. This is for seniors only!
Graduation May 19th at 7pm at THS Stadium!
Project Graduation begins loading busses at 9:30pm and last bus leaves at 10:15pm!
It’s not too late to fill out your FAFSA and Bright Future forms! You have until graduation, don’t miss out, you never know!
Seniors – Please stop by the Guidance Office to see Mrs. Hicks to sign up for your “Final” transcript to be mail to the college or place of your choose. This final transcript is “FREE”.

Fundraising Update:

We will be parking and we will need volunteers from 7am to 4pm. Please let me know if you are able to work this day! We will be parking at 3910 S Washington Ave at the Mercado Building.

If you have not bought your Gheenoe raffle ticket, please contact Jen ASAP. The tickets are $1.00 each and it is for a chance to win an NMZ Gheenoe!
We will be selling raffle tickets at the shuttle launch from 8am to 5 pm and if you can help with that, please contact Jen ASAP.

Café Chocolat’- Jen has spoken to Café Chocolat’ and they have offered for us to run a stand outside the front of the store selling product form Café Chocolat’ and they would in turn give PG 2011 a percentage of the sale generated at the stand location. The idea is to help them out by alleviating the long lines inside the shop on launch day. This will be open from 8am to 4 pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please let Jen know ASAP!

Parent Participation for Project Graduation

If you have signed up to go to Daytona Lagoon on Project Graduation please be sure you have paid your $10.00 per parent food charge. This is a charge that Daytona Lagoon has added to our contract. If the charge is not paid by the May 3rd meeting, your name will be removed from the parent attending list. We cannot accept payment at the door. Please contact Mary Meckling for information.
If you are photography inclined, we are looking for a volunteer to set up and take still photos of the seniors for 3 hours during PG at Daytona Lagoon. There is a specific area where a backdrop will be placed and the seniors can go individually or in a group. The pictures will be printed right on the spot and given to the senior. Each senior will be able to get 1 picture each. If this is something you would like to do, please call Becky ASAP!!

Needs!

First Aid kit- we are need of a nice First Aid kit for Daytona Lagoon to take with us in addition to what Daytona has at their First Aid Station. A premade kit would be great. If you can donate a kit, please contact Jen ASAP.
We are going to offer the seniors freshen up baskets in the restrooms at Daytona Lagoon. It would include toiletry items such as wisps, cologne body spray, spray deodorant, wipes, hairspray, etc. If you would like to donate any of these items, please contact Becky ASAP.
